Dittolio #2 for Full Orchestra is a driving, fast paced very rhythmic musical work. Two themes work together in the piece. A syncopated melody and its variations supply the melodic material and an upwardly moving chord progression lends a positive mood to the proceedings. An A, A, B, A form with positive rhythmic energy should make this work a pleasing experience for the orchestra to play and the audience to hear.
