Not A Drill

The music and score were created using Logic Pro X. All sounds are MIDI. The start and duration of each note is shown, with time on top and pitch on the left. I sang some version of this music into a recorder as an improvisation. I then colored and edited the audio recording using Logic's midi synths and percussion.

For this submission, I began to transcribe the rhythms using standard notation, but soon decided it would be more rhythmically true to simply take pictures of the piano roll window. The rhythm here owes more to speech-like improvisation than metric values.
