This composition is inspired by the seemingly random behavior of quantum particles (the notes sound random but possess a hidden logic), and the idea of a curved universe wrapping around itself like a cylinder (the repetitions at increasing pace). A 140 note theme rapidly expands and explodes into a network of irrational meters. Dedicated to Conlon Nancarrow.
This realization was rendered by "The Grandeur", a sampled grand piano by Native Instruments. It would also be possible to perform this composition on an acoustic piano outfitted with modern reproducing technology, such as the Yamaha Disklavier.
