Second Chance

Composed for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra's exceptionally talented second clarinettist Eloise Fisher, Second Chance grew from our shared experience of feeling like the underdog. With humour and flair, it pushes back against that idea with a 12-minute showpiece — a playful tribute to the overlooked and underestimated.

Premiered at the Federation Concert Hall, Hobart on 3 October 2025 by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra with Eloise Fisher (solo clarinet) and Simon Reade (conductor).
