3. Poeme en Transe

Poème en Transe is part of the concept album Artefacti Sonorum, where sound artifacts constitute the primary material of every composition. I sped up short bass guitar motifs to generate rhythmic patterns. This composition is distinguished by its extensive use of experimental techniques: plucking recorded through an amplifier with a microphone; manipulating the pickup by introducing varying frequencies in close proximity (using an electric screwdriver); striking the strings so they hit the neck, inspired by Bartók pizzicato; and playing the strings at their tightest point above the bridge to produce harp-like tones.

Additionally, heavily transformed voice samples were incorporated, altered beyond recognition and used as an unconventional delay effect.
