This piece was inspired by a TikTok created by Jeff Anderle who attempted to play progressively longer PVC pipes with a bass clarinet mouthpiece. In collaboration with him and other Splinter Reeds musicians, I created a work that explored the unusual sonic possibilities of these oversized instruments.
