Ring the Bell

The piece explores a flickering beam of light that slowly develops and changes color - symbolizing the lack of light during the dark and grey November days of Berlin. "Bell" refers to the horn and the intonational changes generated by the movement of the left hand inside the instrument's bell. This phenomenon is central to the piece and elicits responses from all the other instruments involved.

Performed in December 2024 at R!sk Festival Karlsruhe, Germany
