Carolyn for Solo piano

I wrote this piece in memory of Dr. Carolyn

Bremer, composer, teacher, and director of Bob Cole

Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach, who

passed away in 2018 after years of struggling with

an autoimmune disease. She was one of the

kindest and most caring people I have ever met. Her

legacy, which is her music and the students whom

she mentored, will live on to celebrate her life. She

will be missed dearly.
