Fairytale Suite

Fairytale Suite invites the listener to dive into a classic storybook adventure told through music. “I. Village Market” imitates a folk dance-like character and sets the stage for a charming fairytale. However, “II. The Witch’s Tower” soon shifts the tone to one of dark uncertainty and slight curiosity. “III. Eyes Meet” then enters the scene, a gentle movement which sways and swells as if emulating a romantic ballroom dance. After this, “IV. The Hunt” leaps swiftly into action, painting the picture of a climactic, frantic chase from a foe. Once the danger passes, the suite culminates with “V. Festive Celebration,” a celebratory finale to the fairytale that thematically hearkens back to the first movement and effectively closes the storybook.
