Gestalt paradoxale

To put it simply, "Gestalt" means that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. In German, it means form, but it is used in psychology as a proper noun. The piece is composed for HanatsuMiroir, and is my first attempt to apply the notion of 'Gestalt' to composition. As mentioned at the beginning, a tiny element represents a figure, the figure represents a section, the section represents a part. The part also represents 'the whole music'. But questioning the methodology of composition with Gestalt still left me. So I went backwards and accounted for the Gestalt concept. Not that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, but "the parts should be greater than the whole". In other words, we perceive restricted material when we listen to music, but it's that the supplements can actually be greater than the whole.
