Two Pieces (Sunset)

These two short works were composed around the same time as my 'Quiet Spaces' string quartet and take a more fragmented approach. Similarly, harmony and tonality are often static, with a focus on texture. The moments of harmonic progression were heavily inspired by Masashi Hamauzu, a composer whose works played a part in my initial interest in composition.
