This work is part of the cycle of works "abstractions" This is a project I 've been working for several years. It IS ABOUT making sound representations of abstract painters of pictures. "Whose Name Was Writ in Water" is a painting by William da Kooning, the sound representation is the process of all facets of painting. The early stages of the work Represents the first lines and first ideas. Followed by the colored Agreed, after short, after much, after smaller, and so on., All this sounds Represented. The parties Represent silence movement less than the painter to continue meditating. Towards the end there is a section That Represents the last traces of paint and detail, These are becoming more fine.
