Suite for Heroes and Villains: III. A Theme for Heroes (Orchestra)

Originally composed in 2018 as a much more expansive work, this substantially revised three-movement suite for orchestra is a tribute to the timeless qualities & memorable characters of the superhero genre, depicted across multiple generations of storytelling from the comic books to the silver screen. The final movement, “A Theme for Heroes”, soars triumphantly and with great spirit, reveling in the adventures of the past as well as foreshadowing the journey to come.
