'read after I'm gone' is a meditation on absence, distance, and the fragile thread of intention through time. Cast in two movements, the piece explores a nostalgic hauntology through sonic archeology of feelings unspoken and moments unresolved. The piece holds in delicate tension the rub between old and new, closeness and distance; it's about that indescribable, numinous spark, the moment where the stars of fate slightly misalign, and the lingering saudade, bittersweet ache of what might have been.
'read after I'm gone' is the ghost of intent, the sound of communication that never found its destination, a memory preserved or cached by accident. like the space between two stars, it marks the gap between reality and the path not taken as visible yet immeasurable.
