âunchangingly the alwaysâ is a piece taken from the poem âbut the otherâ by e.e. Cummings which offers possible readings, while formally combining different temporalities. It is also also part of a trio of works based on the same text. Completing the series âa reminiscence partakenâ (written for the ensemble INPUT DUO) and âelaborate fingers possibly touchâ (written for the ensemble PROXIMA CENTAURI ENSEMBLE).
In an increasingly complex world and context, in a future full of uncertainties, there are still precious opportunities to ask questions, where research, creation and reflection are the key. A break that where, in many parts of the world, the âotherâ, the different, the foreign is synonymous with âdangerâ, where borders are increasingly hardened.
In this proposal, the idea was to set up a system of dualities in several parameters. The narrative is based on echoes of construction, deconstruction and reconstruction.
Otherness is apparent in several parameters: the musicians are also narrators, the timbral research and the contrast in form and materials, the tension between an idea of staticity and a constant flow, between fragility and strength.
