Fluctuations for Orchestra and Electronics (2024)

"Fluctuations," the culmination of Master studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, is a one-movement composition featuring three main blocks reminiscent of the fast-slow-fast form, complete with a slow introduction and majestic coda. Despite its traditional structure, the music quickly evolves, reflecting its diverse nature, akin to film music. The main aim is to blend orchestral sonority with electronics (5.1 setup) and explore their interplay.

The first block, following a mystical introduction, introduces multiple melodic elements, initially light-hearted before transitioning through various moods, from semi-grotesque to mystical and finally to a glorious tone.

The second block begins with a pensive, intimate, and "disoriented" mood, gradually developing a simple melody and embracing tonality and traditional relations.

The third block immediately shifts to a dramatic, aggressive mood, blending old and new elements. After a march-like passage, it culminates in the celebration of a melodic theme in the coda, reflecting the composition's key moments.
