This piece was inspired by the idea of ouroboros - an ancient symbol of a serpent eating its own tail in a circle, representing an eternal cycle of self-destruction and simultaneous rebirth. This piece exemplifies the internal struggle of trying to further oneself while falling victim to the self-destructive habits that often plague such growth. Within "Ouroboros," these double-sided meanings are portrayed in various ways with violent and consuming passages as well as more expansion-oriented sections.
