Note 2: For soloists, especially saxophonists, please consider those with good range and tone. This piece requires lots. I know that many players who are the only ones playing that instrument (bass clarinet, saxophone, piccolo) will do just fine, but when considering who should have access to solos within first, second or third parts, please consider this.

Note 3: This piece, from how I see it, is not totally complicated note wise in every section. However, rhythm and intonation is key to this piece. I could see myself tripping over many moments. When rehearsing this piece, consider holding until later in the rehearsal to get the band focused. Also, consider using a metronome with the group and as the band rehearses more and more record tiny bits to play back and ask for adjustments in playing
