- Program Notes
- The 3rd movement of my string quartet "Vitrales" (Stained glass), "Luz Azul" (Blue Light) plays with color, which represented a particular challenge, due to the homogeneous sonority of the ensemble. This resulted in the use of use of natural harmonics and glissandos of artificial harmonics, as well as the use of the sul tasto and the sordina, besides the use of pedal notes that support the contrapuntal melodies that branch out independently, all in the search for a particular harmonic and timbre color.
