- Program Notes
- This piece should be recorded live during performance (using any standard microphone). Immediately after the performance, (if possible before the audience can applaud) the recording is to be digitally sped up 16x and played back to the audience. The sped up version of the performance will sound the melody of the hymn ‘Nothing but the blood of Jesus’. Thus for any performance of the piece, the audience will experience the music from two different temporal vantage points.
