Glimpse II (2023), deals with the idea of perception and points of reference. It was my attempt at
developing the material in opposite directions, always progressing yet disintegrating at the same time.
The past is undistinguished from the future, while the present is momentary, transformed in both the past
and future. In an instant, a vanishing and originating flow of material, occupying a blurred existence within
time. Melodies become timbre, timbre becomes melody. There are many short glimpses of different
materials – fragments, which may go unnoticed, or later they may be slightly developed, fully developed,
or hardly at all…
Each movement title is taken from the text that I wrote in the score, which was influenced by the flow of
musical ideas.

Through the veil -
movement derived from the muse
Mystical and sacred
hybrid figures embrace
every effort to grasp,
the arrival still forthcoming…
-inseparable from it’s own being
Insight into the past
this time
and in this place
….memory transforms
thoughts erased
