Futurisms arose as part of the final project in Ohio University's Computer Music Programming class in the spring of 2023. It synthesizes
futuristic/electronic sounds with the unique timbre and character of
the soprano trombone. This work takes you on a sonic journey
through fantastical aspects of the future like technological
advancement, global destruction, and, as the world collapses, hopeful new beginnings for our species.
