- "Ichi" is a work for solo electric guitar composed in 2023 around the theme of violence. The title is derived from the name of the protagonist of the film Ichi the Killer by Takashi Miike, which in turn is the film adaptation of the manga of the same name by Hideo Yamamoto. Through successive phases of exploration through improvisation, the body of the instrument began to take shape in a complex topography made up of gestural relationships, delimited not by clear lines but by shadow zones. It was precisely these shadow zones that gradually took on the function of formal articulation, as they were transformative and multiple with respect to the acoustic-spatial context.
