La Bruma

Darío Benbassat - "La Bruma" ("The Mist"), for septet and electronics. A small exploration on imitation and micropolyphony, where the different melodic lines that follow each other get interlaced, creating a sort of a wider line/thread, and revealing different intervallic and harmonic relations between them. Another shade of this intertwine and imitation play is the relation between attacked and sustained notes. The electronic tape follows this concept of imitation and delays, reinforcing the different lines and creating a wider "thread".
