This piece is my first serious work in modern classical music and represents the beginning of my own compositional style. I wanted to create something that both reflects my personal musical voice and the composers that inspire me. Whether their music influenced this piece or not.
I composed this piece for my music teacher, who is retiring. Her dedication and support have been invaluable to me, and this work is my way of expressing my gratitude. This piece is not just a thank you, but also a celebration of her impact on my musical journey and the relationship we've had in times where she was my teacher and my friend.
