- Dedicated to William, an avid storm chaser. Inspired by symphonic pieces about storms, 'March of The Storm Chaser' is evokes a vicious storm rolling in from the distance. I intended to characterise a storm at its most tumultuous, with moments of stillness and silence - as if to suggest the storm’s passing. Rampant thunder and lighting are characterised by the percussion section, with brass the force of the storm.
