- “Whirligig” (2022) is dedicated to composer Peter Garland on his 70th birthday. The work is written to be performed by a mechanical (player) piano (e.g., Yamaha Disklavier or PianoDisc). A mechanical melody with a steady, pacing rhythm is caught up in rush of disruptive, whirling parts and flying pieces.
