- Program Notes
- Nowadays, with the current climate crisis that is challenging our ways of living and the way we interact with nature, there are millions of living beings whose ecosystems and lives are threatened. These organisms, mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles, among others, are facing a significant reduction in their habitat and their possibility of extinction due to actions humans have done since the eighteenth century. Certainly, many tribes, and particular populations where life will be harsh due to the changing climate conditions, are facing similar challenges that animals do. However, unlike these populations, animals cannot speak up, they cannot act, they are just suffering without comprehending the reasons behind… they are just dying in silence.
