- This piece was written during a summer when I had several commitments. As time clicked down, I felt overwhelmed and exhausted by all the stressors that I had placed for myself. This piece encapsulates that feeling of being in a frantic state of mind, where it begins to feel that no matter how hard one works, they will never be able to achieve their goal.
