- Derived harmonically from spectral techniques, Snapshots of a Freeway is inspired by the sights and sounds of a freeway in nocturnal rain. In this piece, I attempt to capture the sound of tires on the road with glissandi, of rain on the windshield with pizzicato, and of traffic lights with flashing polyrhythms.
