- “Reflections in the Nile” is a neo-impressionistic tone poem for solo piano which depicts echoed soundscapes viewed from the distorted lens of the distant past. The musical language uses a textural spectrum of dense and defined gestures that gradually change into longer, connected and blurred melodies. Through this, a clouded narrative is suggested and weaved by depictions of stone inscriptions, ancient landscapes and esoteric rituals.
