- "Ultraviolet" is a piece written for the accordion duo: Maciej ZImka and Wiesław Ochwat for the Krakow Accordion Festival 2023. The inspiration for the song was the figure of a French-American artist from the New York scene: Isabelle Collin Dufresne (1935-2014) with the nickname: "Ultraviolet". She was friends with both Salvadore Dalà and Andy Warhol. These elements come together in this piece, we have some surreal narrative elements, harmonics combined with repetitive material associated with pop art and the highest elements that often appear and become dominant in the piece. "ultraviolet" frequencies (upper registers of the instruments).
