- Program Notes
- This composition is part of the performance Invisible Mirrors, and was commissioned by the violinist Miranda Nee and Claypot Records. It originates from a recording session Miranda recorded in Amsterdam in 2022. She created an hour of beautiful melodic samples mainly using the notes G and A-flat. This recording inspired the present work: each movement develops and builds on fragments and technical or musical aspects of her playing, in a stylized form.
