- Cuatro miniaturas a cuatro manos (Four miniatures for four hands) The work consists of four short movements: 1-Toccatina: Each pianist plays a different octatonic scale and there is much metrical change and contrapuntal imitations. 2-Conticinio (time of the night when everything is silent): It is based on a dodecaphonic series between the four hands. 3-Scherzo: Rhythmic play between 3/4 and 6/8 using parsimonious movements resulting from Neo-Riemannian transformations. 4-Frugal (simple): Polytonal movement at tritone distance between the pianists where the roles are then reversed.
