- Callin’ Saigdi is a short piece written for Andy Lin and Yoko Reikano Kimura for the concert Classical & Avantgarde at the Merkin Hall. Piece is dedicated to Shining Sung, for her help in connecting so many artists in New York together and her support for high art. Title of the piece comes from two words of the name of sirens in Japanese (サイ) Sai-ren) and Chinese :Jin-gdi (笛) in English transliteration. It is a short dialogue for those 2 instruments but composed by the polish composers also has some polish rhythms in the center.
