- Program Notes
- A human (percussionist) and an avatar (a collection of electro-mechanical devices) perform with similar playing techniques on an almost identical percussion setup. Lights are attached above each sound source (both for the human and the avatar). The avatar and the lights are controlled via MIDI through an Arduino and a custom-made circuitboard. The carbon-based and metal- based agents are synchronized with a click-track in the ear of the percussionist.
