The text of this piece is based on Emily Dickinson's number 410 poem. According to my interpretation, the text speaks of schizophrenic insanity and in order to musically express the dismantling of thoughts, the text is translated into several languages and there are not only line and word permutations in the piece, but also syllable articulations that are unnatural from a prosodic point of view. This blurs the boundary between the words and the phonemes. The poem also seemed to affect my psychological state when I composed it and I had the feeling that I was forcibly connecting ideas of disparate origins rather than conveying a single image in this work.
