“until the end of days” was written as a celebration of togetherness and a testament to the love my husband and I built. Originally written to serve as our wedding music, this piece has taken on a deeper meaning since that wedding day ended in tragedy. My family could not accept my happiness, so they chose to abandon me. In the aftermath of grief, I found strength and true, unconditional love from my husband.
“Do you take Joe to be your husband, to cherish in friendship and love today, tomorrow, and until the end of days, to trust and honor him, to love him faithfully, through the best and the worst, whatever may come, and if you should ever doubt, to remember your love for each other and the reason why you came together with him this day?”
Always and forever, I do.
