When my kids were young, they enjoyed watching the cartoon, "Peep and the Big Wide World". The music in the episodes were small, jazzy, catchy little motives. A motive from S1:E1 inspired this tune which was my first attempt at writing for a jazz ensemble. Not bad for where my skills were compositionally at the time. I do have plans to revisit this piece in the future and make it part of a Jazz Suite.
