- Grand Canyon Vistas is a grade 2.5 for concert band. Inspired by the music of Aaron Copland, the work conjures images of the Old West and one of nation's greatest treasures, Grand Canyon National Park. The piece is in ABA form and is based on a simple four note motif heard in the opening fanfare. The composition employees frequent syncopation and chromaticism throughout.
