- Tasmanian Connections was written by me earlier in the year. It went through, I think, about 6 different movements over its lifetime, but eventually I ended up with this combination, which is my first work that has been played in concert. This work was premiered by the Hobart Wind Symphony, in their concert, "Symphony," on the 25th of November, 2023. Movements I - Southern Outlet (6:00AM) II - Brooker (7:30AM) III - Incident on the Midlands Highway (5:30PM) Special thanks to Simon Reade for believing in the piece and putting it up on the program next to Frank Ticheli and Jodie Blackshaw.
