‘Pneuma’ ('nooma') although deriving its meaning from various sources (Greek Philosophy, Theology, and Stoicism), finds its common place in simply being a 'state of the human condition': the human spirit, energy, and balance of opposing forces. Impressions of Pneuma is a Post-Impressionist style work exploring themes throughout more ‘fluid’ and ‘rigid’ settings, offering seemingly opposite yet interconnected elements of classical piano and impressionist themes into a collected work.
