- Andrew’s guitar piece from 2018 is inspired by the character Don Quixote from Miguel Cervantes’ iconic novel. The music explores the psychological "dual reality" of Don Quixote, depicting his solitude in the mountains and his self-imposed punishment. The second movement portrays the conflict between Don Quixote's actions and how they are perceived by the world. Various guitar techniques are employed throughout the piece including the use of a capo on the first fret, rasgueado, tremolo, counterpoint and rapid arpeggiation.
