- “What I Have Done” was written in the summer of 2023 under the mentorship and direction of Dr. Chandler Wilson. I entered college in 2018 unsure of what I wanted to do. I started in Music Education but quickly decided to follow a more traditional College path of going to Business school. After spending almost two years in the College of Business I found myself depressed and lost from family and friends. I began burning bridges that I had worked so hard to create. Despite this, the faculty at the FSU’s College of Music accepted me back with open arms when I decided to relearn who I was. I began pushing myself to write more music and to explore who I was, to work harder on myself. Hopefully “What I Have Done” encapsulates the feeling of being regretful but proud of where you are.
