The Bride and Groom Waltz

This was my second attempt at orchestration. When I approached my good friend, BJ Brooks, about coming to WTAMU to get a Masters degree, he wanted me to write him an orchestral work. Not having written for that medium enough to be confident, I tackled it by staying fairly safe. Using a tune I had written down in one of my musical journals, I began by copying the instrumentation Strauss used for his Blue Danube.
