- Laune is a reflexive piece which responds to signal information from the performer, particularly focussing on register and dynamic range. The piece aims to create an immersive expansion of the cello, whilst giving the performer expressive control and room for fun and experimentation. The piece takes influence from Pendercki and Saariaho.
