- This piece is part of a set of six pieces âRĂo, Llamas, Lirio, Calma.â This set is grounded on popular music from Argentina. Some of the musical materials for the pieces was derived from folkloric rhythms that link the cultures from Argentina, Bolivia and PerĂș. In CancTus, the music grows from a âcarnavalitoâ and a set of rhythmic cycles that basically gives the groupings of 3+4 or 4+3 and its variations.â©
