The esthetic idea of this piece is the similarities and differences of the sound-quality between the
bass clarinet and the accordion. The sound emerges from the center and slowly spreads to the edges,
creating a time extension through fusion and constant timbre transformations.
The fusion is aided by frequent unisons, or rather, quasi-unisons, which create beats in the low
register of the instruments. The material spreads in an intense dialogue, sometimes stable and
sometimes shifting away from its origin, creating new dimensions.
