- Morten Ladehoff (1978) works to create a connection between the abstract world of ideas and the physical presence of sound. By using alternative playing techniques, the inclusion of various sound-creating objects and electromechanics, artistic concepts are translated into sound. In Rotor (2019), the palet of sounds is expanded with various objects: balloons, sewer pipes with bubbling water, crumpling paper and flex pipes that create overtones. The sensual qualities of the sounds are magnified and merged into something completely new.
