- “Fanfare for the Winners” for YYPA 2023 Ensemble utilizes unfamiliar instrumentation exploring many timbres and possibilities. The piece is for a collaborative weekend event celebrating young performers all across the United States. The members of the 2023 Ensemble include: Subin Cho (Flute), Yunze Shao (Clarinet), Spencer Rubin (Oboe), Brian Kachur (Saxophone), Simon Hwang (Saxophone), Jonathan Salcedo (Trombone), Justin Gruber (Tuba), Christian Snedeker (Drum Set), David Wang (Percussion), Xingyue Xue (Percussion), Jory Lane (Violin), and Meihui An (Piano).
